The Finance Department staff is experienced in the complex accounting, record keeping and reporting necessary to manage government sponsored managed care programs. A reliable IBNR model is in place, allowing the calculation of reserves. The Finance Department team works closely with the Claims Department to prepare notices to the reinsurance carrier in the event of a long-term, intensive hospital stay or catastrophic medical case.
